Elaine Tuckman.
Sadly slipped away in Mike's arms Wednesday 7th March.
Age 65.

Husband, Mike Tuckman, Daughter Kim Doyle, Son Simon Tuckman & Daughter Alison Sandbach, - Grand Children - Jessica, Danny, Samantha, Sean, Kelly, Ryan, Beth.

Elaine was sadley given between 2 days & 2 weeks upon diagnosis of cruel "Cancer"!

Born Nancy Elaine Hoskins, 31st October 1941
Mum was a very shy young lady and worked in the local cake shop.
Mum then met dad! Mike Tuckman.
A good-looking chap in the RAF!
After there 3rd date, she said to him “well, are we getting married then!”
11th March 1961, Mum and Dad married at Radyr Chain Church, and soon after dad was posted to Singapore.
Mum had never travelled further than Cardiff, So Singapore was quite daunting.
Then along came Kim, 4th October 1962 (first born) 3 years later, dad was then posted to Lincoln, and 16th November 1965 along came Simon. Dad then left the RAF and they settled in Cheadle Hulme, and 8th October 1967 and along came Alison. (Final child)
Mum & Dad built their business together, a family run garage. Which there’s Father, Son & Grandson all working together now.
Mum and dad loved there holidays, 1 – 2 times a year over to the Far East, so much so that they took all of us there in 2004. Kim, Simon & Michelle, Myself (Alison) & Mike and mum was so proud to show us all the places they have visited. Plus Mike & I got married on the beach in Borneo.

2 years on, Mum & dad decided to take us to the Far East again, but this time the grandchildren came with us too. Mum was so proud to have all of us with her.

Mum was such well liked and loved person and she cared for lots of people, as soon she heard that someone she knew was pregnant, she would be knitting away. She did have the nickname “The Nutty Knitter”! And the baking…..All the grandkids wanted Nanny’s chocolate cake for there birthdays. Mum was a fabulous cook, Dad always complained that he carried the extra pounds due to mums cooking being too nice, and he had to finish every morsel on his plate. She also loved her Ponchi (it will be so strange to visit Spain and not bring any back) and her “Sooty’s”!….Say no more!!

Mum, they say that time is a healer, “whoever said that” is totally wrong. You were taken away from us Wednesday 7th March 2007, slipping away peacefully in dad’s arms with us 3 kids with you. I miss you more and more every day. I still can’t accept that you have gone.

Dad is struggling on; you and him were joined at the hip. And all of a sudden he is trying to exist on his own. We all try and help him mum, but it will never come close to the way of life you 2 used to lead.
Mum, you were the best mum and nan in the world, and I hope you are safe and the angels are looking after you.
